Pr. 21: Motives

Proverbs 21:30 "There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD. "

The wording is "the king" in verse one. I wonder if that refers to David. If it were any king, wouldn't it say "a king?" Not all kings allow themselves to be guided by God. Of course.
